At Air Voel, we adhere to the regulations and guidelines mandated by your local jurisdiction concerning the distribution of medical products that necessitate a prescription for purchase.

Should the item you are intending to buy require a prescription, a representative from our team will reach out to you for further details. Upon our request for a prescription, you have the flexibility to send it to us either through email at care@airvoel.ca or by faxing it to 416-628-3467.

If you are located in the jurisdiction that mandates a prescription for CPAP devices purchase, we will not ship out your order until we receive your prescription. We will contact you as soon as we receive your order. However, if you confirm that you are unable to provide prescription after placing your order, your order will not be shipped and you will receive a full refund. 

It's important to note that within Canada, the laws do not mandate a prescription for the acquisition of CPAP machines, masks, supplies, and accessories. Nonetheless, we highly encourage the submission of a prescription for the reasons outlined below:

          1. All CPAP machines available at Air Voel feature Automatic-Adjusting technology, optimizing air pressure levels to ensure your airway remains unobstructed. In certain cases, physicians may recommend a specific pressure range for enhanced comfort. By having access to your prescription, we can adjust your machine's settings accordingly for optimal comfort.

          2. CPAP devices and related supplies may be eligible for coverage under various private insurance plans. To prove the necessity of CPAP therapy, some insurers may require a prescription.

          3. Residents of Ontario with a valid prescription from an Ontario-licensed sleep physician might be eligible for financial assistance through the Assistive Devices Program, which can help offset the costs associated with CPAP equipment.
